SMALL WIDE VIEWS is a project in progress - an ongoing series of animated loops created entirely from photographic still images.

In an attempt at creating a space - a space that may be simultaneously conducive to the (re)production of memory, new thinking and experience, the work explores repetition, photographic representation and movement.

Each loop is an individual work. Intended for looped projection, it can be presented on its own - to create endless views where none exists or to displace familiar views into unfamiliar locations - as well as divergently combined with other Views to create sequential or spatial screen projections, installations and [immersive] environments.

The project has been developed and collaboratively extended through Residency at Academic Film Center, Belgrade (2008) and with support from Knud Højgaards Fond, Denmark
